No modifications were carried out to the cab. In the accommodation area, the entrance door's width was
increased to 27 inches and ramped access provided. The 'L' shaped kitchen was dispensed with and the bathroom
entrance door width increased by means of a double opening door. This then allowed movement of the
wheelchair from cab to rear. This meant loss of some storage space but to compensate for loss of work surface
area, a folding worktop was provided which can be opened out to wheelchair height. The Shower door was removed
and the entrance width increased from 17 inches to 22 inches to allow a standing transfer onto a free standing
shower chair. A shower curtain closes off the cubicle. The toilet wall was re-inforced during manufacture and a
grab rail fitted. The doors on the cupboard under the washbasin were removed and the washbasin plinth height
lowered to allow wheelchair access. No changes were necessary to the toilet height or position. Restraining
clamps, to hold the wheelchair while travelling, were also fitted to the floor between the beds.
